Newsletter for employees at Messiah College April 9 April 9th, 2020 by INTERCOM Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus. Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and become obedient to death — even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2: 5-11 MESSIAH 411: INTERCOM changes Due to the COVID-19 crisis and staff reduction, the INTERCOM will not resume until July 9. The online submission form will reactivate on July 1. Thank you for your understanding. NEW! Virtual employer sessions and listing of all online services Greetings from the CPDC! Giving Day 2020: date change Dear faculty, staff and administrators, In light of recent events with COVID-19, we have decided to push the College’s Giving Day back to Thursday, April 30. There is a lot going on in our world, which is why we feel even more committed to our students and have decided to move forward in raising funds to support them. On April 30, we will ask our Messiah Community to rally behind the men and women we teach, mentor, work with and care about. We will be specifically raising funds to support The Good Samaritan Fund and the Messiah Fund, both of which will allow us to best meet the direct needs of our students and our ability to serve them during this pandemic. Would you join us in saving this date on your calendar? We are looking forward to Giving Day and the opportunity it gives our campus to make a unified front in support of our students. More information will be made available closer to April 30 as to how you can collaborate with the Office of Development to make for a successful event!
